The Segovia Castle is one of the most distinctive
castle-palaces in Spain. Shaped like the bow of a ship, it was originally built
as a fortress but has served as a royal palace, a state prison and a Royal
Artillery College in the past.
Finally, Madrid and its museums. We started at Plaza de
Castilla. The slanted buildings are called Gate of Europe.
